About the Event
Why is adaptive teaching such an important skill? As a teacher, you don’t know who will walk into your yoga class and what adaptations they need. A great tool is to be able to confidently adapt your class plan to any given population at the last minute. We’ll discuss populations that might need adaptive postures or language, and how you might take a normal flow class plan to be inclusive to returning practitioners and new clients in need of adaptations. We’ll review common, key postures and transitions and review different ways you could adapt them. We’ll review postures and transitions you frequently teach or practice to create a plan or sequence that is adaptive and inclusive to your clientele. Join us for this workshop to add this invaluable skill to your yoga teacher toolbox.
This workshop is a part of our 200-hour yoga teacher training program, but is open to yoga teachers. This online continuing education workshop offered through Unbound Collective School of Yoga and Wellness, and is eligible for 3 hours of continuing education credit with Yoga Alliance.
