About the Event
Learn how to use anatomy functionally while teaching by studying the biomechanics of key yoga postures. Each week, we'll look at a different part of the body and postures that affect this area, both in ways that strengthen and open. We'll look at various examples of how different body types navigate these postures and cues we can use to help individuals get the most benefit out of postures. We'll study the lower body and hips, abdomen and spine, and the shoulders and neck, learning how each of these can be strengthened, opened, and protected from injury for any student. Webinars meet 12-1:30 on Wednesdays, and will be recorded for registered students who cannot attend live. Complete this series for elective credit in our 300-hour program or for 5 CEUs with Yoga Alliance.
